# Map

> Turn map layers on and off, and control their filters and labels.

The map draws everything CamoAg knows about a place in stacked layers — parcel boundaries, contacts, farm sales, flood hazards, and more. The layers menu on the left is where you choose which ones are drawn.

Layers are grouped by subject. Select a group to expand it; each layer inside has its own toggle. When a group is collapsed, a badge shows how many of its layers are on, and a small filter icon on that badge means at least one of them is filtered.

  Which groups and layers appear depends on your subscription and permissions. A group with nothing available to you is hidden entirely.

### Base layer

The base layer is a single choice rather than a set of toggles: **Satellite**, **Light**, **Dark**, **Streets**, **Outdoors**, **NAIP**, or **USGS Topography**. NAIP requires you to be signed in.

## Turning a layer on

Each layer has a toggle. Turning one on draws it immediately and opens its filters; turning it off clears any filters you had set on it.

Two small buttons sit to the right of each layer's toggle:

A layer only shows the buttons it has. Layers with nothing to label (Wetlands, FEMA Panels & LOMRs, Farm Sales) have no **Aa** button.

## Labels

Select **Aa** to see the labels available for that layer, each with its own toggle. Turn on as many as you need — they're independent of each other, and turning one on will turn the layer on if it isn't already.

Most layers have a sensible label on by default. Some examples:

## Filters

Select **+** beside a layer to expand its filters inline. These are the quick filters — the ones you reach for most often, like acreage ranges, tags, or contact type.

Layers with more than a handful of filters also offer **Advanced Filters**, which opens the full set in an overlay. Farm Sales is the deepest: acreage by type, price per acre, soil rating, auction date, data source, and listing status.

Filters do not apply as you type. Once you change anything, the buttons at the bottom of the menu become **Cancel** and **Apply Changes** — select **Apply Changes** to redraw the map.

### Clearing

With no unapplied changes pending, the same two buttons read:

* **Reset Map** — turns off every layer and clears all filters and labels.
* **Clear all filters** — clears filters but leaves your layers on.

Turning an individual layer off also resets that layer's own filters.

## Sharing a map view

Your active layers, labels, and filters all live in the page URL. Copy the URL to hand someone the exact map you're looking at, or bookmark a set of layers you use often.
