Merging Operations

Merging Operations allows you to view that Operation in the way that you want. Merging an operation is different from connecting an operation in that it merges the two entities as a single operation.

Use Case 1: An investor owns land under multiple entity names, by merging those entities into one operation, the entire ownership footprint is now viewable on the map. 

Use Case 2: Multiple family members own and operate land together, but live at separate addresses. You want to be able to view their entire operation as whole.

1. Enable the Operation > Producers layer and click on an operation on the map

2. The Operation panel will appear. Click Save to Edit to the right of the operation name. Do this for each operation you want to merge. 

3. Click the three vertical dots to the right of any operation you saved then Merge Operation

4. Search for the contact name you want to connect to this operation

5. In the search results, click on the operation you want to merge

6. Click Merge Operation

7. These two operations will now be listed together under Connections
