Farmer Bridge Assistance payments
2025 Farmer Bridge Assistance (FBA) payment data now available for operations.
- Circle irrigation pivot — draw a pivot directly rather than approximating it with a polygon.
- Snap to grid — snap new vertices to a grid while drawing.
- Pinned shared vertices — dragging a point shared by two boundaries moves both at once, so adjacent boundaries stay contiguous.
Two new walkthrough videos were added to the Map Tools YouTube playlist, and the in-platform documentation these tools link to has been updated.
Contact results in map search now show the contact name as the card title, with the operation name moved to the subtitle. Previously the operation name was the title, which made it hard to pick the right person out of a list of multiple contacts from the same household.
When you click Save to edit on a platform operation, the operation name no longer changes underneath you as a result of deep research or key-people contact data. You now get the same operation name you were looking at when you saved it, and any renaming from that point on is up to you or your organization.
Contact type options have been consolidated down to two values: Customer and Prospect. The change is applied consistently across the create and edit contact forms, the data rendered in the contact details panels, the recently-added menu, and the color treatment on the connected contacts map layer. Older contact type values are deprecated.

Operation updates
Redesigned operation merge flow
Merging two operations has been rebuilt as a guided, multi-step flow: search for the operation to merge, review a side-by-side summary of both operations, then confirm. The review step surfaces operation summary cards so you can see exactly what you’re combining before committing, and the modal now uses a sticky footer so the action buttons stay reachable on long reviews.
The updated operation map panel is now the only experience
The feature flag has been retired now that the new operation preview is on for all customers. The previous operation panel layout — including the older highlight-on-map, crops, and financial relationship components — has been removed. There is no longer any way to fall back to the old panel.
Bug Fixes & UX Improvements
- Fixed the Relationship Manager filter on the Contacts Dashboard
- Fixed an issue where parcel owner tiles could display an outdated owner name even after the owner had been updated on the parcel pane
- Fixed an issue using mobile search on Android devices
- The Clone option on a farm sale is now disabled when that sale is tied to an external source record, with hover text explaining why. Previously cloning these records was possible and produced a duplicate that could drift from its source.
Mobile and tablet polish
- Modals use a better default height on mobile, and several redundant mobile width overrides were dropped.
- Fixed content being hidden underneath the button footer on a number of screens, including bulk selection.
- Fixed the mobile filter panel wrapper and the mobile filter group layout.
- iPad mini styling corrections, plus a few small fixes to the embedded map layout.

- Connect Operation form — connect and merge operations, with recents in the merge view
- Operation connections refresh — contact section on the operation detail, paginated “all operations” view, connected-operation attributes
- Notes list — filters, pagination, and a retry state when loading fails

- Parcel property address now displays under Property Information when available
- One-click contact save from a parcel sets the logged-in user as relationship manager

Livestock data on operations
Available in Beta, Operations now have a Livestock accordion in the map operation panel. Livestock data is displayed for relevant operations and is editable for private operations with permissions. You can add new livestock categories, confirm existing data, or delete it entirely, and once you’ve made a change, future data syncs won’t overwrite your edits.
Requires the Create/Edit Operations permission and a feature flag.
The new operation preview experience is on for all customers
An updated operation map panel UX is now enabled for every customer. This brings the refreshed operation preview cards, including the notes and highlight-on-map accordions, to everyone.
Alongside this, a new Key people accordion surfaces the people associated with an operation directly in the map panel. (Available in private beta)
Deep research links on operation reports
The Operators (Camo) report now include a “View Deep Research” link that jumps straight to the research report for a record when one is available.
”View on map” icon links in reports
Reports now use a new design treatment for opening a record on the map, replacing the old list of drill links. In the browser you’ll see a compact icon link; downloaded reports still contain the full URL to the record. This is live on the Operations reports and is rolling out to other reports in the coming days. Available to Scout and Enterprise, depending on reports access.
Recent Notes report now available to all Scout subscribers
The Recent Notes report — released as v1.0 the prior week — is now switched on for every Scout subscriber, giving teams a rolling view of notes recently added across their organization.
Embed SDK map uses the new navigation
The Embed SDK map now uses the new navigation with the updated Search and Layers menus, and the map-centric layout is enabled for embedded experiences. You can see it on the appraisal.ag demo site.

Better operation search results
- Operation search cards now show
City, State | County, making it much easier to tell similarly named operations apart.
- General cleanup of the map search result cards, including a fix for the doubled drop shadow on operation cards.
- Highlighting connected operations on the map now pulls a larger page of results, so more connections show up on the first pass.
Shift-select parcels from global search
Global search results on the map now support shift and drag selection, so you can grab a run of parcels in one gesture instead of clicking them one at a time. A message appears when your selection exceeds the allowed limit.
New USDA Rural Development ineligibility layer
The USDA Ineligibility Areas for Rural Development boundaries are now available as a custom company map layer. Reach out if you’d like this layer enabled.
Some old map bookmarks no longer redirect
Support for several legacy map URLs has ended, and these no longer auto-redirect. If you have them bookmarked, you’ll want to update them:

- Chart libraries are now loaded on demand rather than up front, trimming initial page load for everyone.
- Accordions across the app use a new animation approach that removes the old height-measuring behavior, making expand and collapse smoother and more reliable.
Fixes and polish
- Fixed the Advanced Layers container height on the map navigation panel.
- Portfolios access now relies on the standard permission check rather than a separate organization-level read check.

Parcel search results now show county and state
Parcel cards in search results now include the County, State alongside the parcel details.
The map-centric experience is now standard
The map-centric design is now the experience for everyone. The Account Settings toggle to opt out and return to the “classic” layout has been retired, and the underlying beta feature flag has been removed. Alongside this, we shipped a more general framework for managing beta features.
Recent Notes report (v1.0)
A new “recent notes” subscription report is available, giving teams a rolling view of notes recently added across their organization — useful for staying on top of activity without digging through individual records.
Navigation and page-load improvements
- The Manage, Reports, and More menus now open without navigating you back to the map.
- Pages show a proper loading state instead of a blank screen while they load.
- The area search button is hidden until search is open, reducing map clutter.
Operation preview refinements
The updated operation map panel is enabled, with notes and highlight-on-map accordions on the operation preview cards. The operation accordion now also appears consistently on contact and other detail pages.
Map and search fixes
- “Highlight Owned Parcels” is now disabled when an operation has no owned parcels.
- Fixed the layer hierarchy for section-township-range (STR) search.
Permissions and access
Access enforcement was tightened across the platform, with role-based permission checks added for map layers, farm creation, financials, CMA and AVM, AI chat, and notes and tags. Creating a farm from owned parcels requires an Enterprise subscription.
Data quality and reliability
- Improved address re-geocoding, including fixes for some overlapping addresses
- Additional AVM quantiles and supporting documentation
- Faster public auction query behind the weekly digest
- New internal contact CSV import tooling to support customer onboarding

Reassign an operation’s address to another operation
You can now move an operation’s address to a different existing operation — or spin up a brand-new operation for it — directly on the platform. When you reassign an address, its associated contacts come along with it. This isn’t a full undo of an operation merge, but it gives you a fast, targeted way to put an address back where it belongs. Requires the operation.create permission.
The Producers and Contacts map layers now default to showing icons only, with a new option in the layer filters to turn on the heatmap density view. This keeps the map cleaner by default while letting you switch to a density heatmap whenever you want to see concentration at a glance.Last modified on September 10, 2026
