Contacts

Call, text, email, and navigate to your contacts from the app, and see the operations and farms they’re tied to.

Contacts are the people behind the ground. In the app, a contact record is built for acting on: every phone number is one tap from a call, and the address is one tap from directions.

Opening a contact

• Tap Contacts on the main control sheet for your saved list.
• Tap a contact pin on the map.
• Search by name from the search bar.
• Open one from the parcel, farm, or operation it’s attached to.
• In CarPlay, use Explore → Contacts for the ones nearest you.

Contact pins are color-coded on the map: teal for customer contacts, gray for prospects, and orange where there’s no relationship.

What’s on the detail sheet

The top of the sheet always shows the essentials — name, primary address with a directions button, primary phone, and email:

• Call — dials the number.
• Text — appears on mobile numbers.
• Email — opens a new message.
• Addresses, phone numbers, and email can all be copied by tapping them.

Relationship Manager	The person on your team who owns the relationship
CRM ID	A link out to the contact in your connected CRM (if applicable)
Products	The products associated with the contact

Below that, the sheet lists the contact’s Tags, the Operations they’re part of, and the Farms they’re connected to — with the option to connect another farm.

Creating and editing

Contacts can be created from scratch, or from something you’re already looking at:

• From an operation, which pre-fills the name and address.
• From a parcel, using Save as a Contact — this creates a prospect from the parcel owner and assigns you as the relationship manager.

Use the ⋯ menu on a contact to Edit Contact or delete it. Deleting asks for confirmation.

Contacts synced from an external source show a lock instead of the ⋯ menu: “These details are synced from an external source and cannot be edited within the app.” Edit those in the source system.

In CarPlay

The CarPlay contact card shows the name, contact type, address, and phone, with Call and Directions buttons. Contacts whose only address is a PO box don’t get Directions, since there’s nowhere to route to. See CarPlay.
