A farm is a group of parcels you’ve drawn a line around and named — the way you actually talk about ground in the field. Once a farm exists, it’s a single thing you can navigate to, connect people to, and share.

Opening a farm

  • Tap Farms on the main control sheet for your saved list.
  • Tap a farm boundary on the map.
  • Search for it by name.
  • Open it from a parcel or contact it’s connected to.
  • In CarPlay, use Explore → Farms for the ones nearest you.
When you open a farm, its fields are outlined on the map behind the sheet.

What’s on the detail sheet

The header shows the farm name with Acres, Production, and Soil Rating, followed by the county and state and the farm’s center coordinates.
The contacts and operations tied to the farm, with Connect a Contact for adding another.
Every parcel in the farm with its acres. On farms you can edit, this is also where you add or remove parcels.
Use the recenter button to bring the map back to the farm, and the share button to send a link to it.

Building a farm

Start from a parcel

Open a parcel and use the Farms section to start a new farm from it.

Add the rest of the ground

Select the additional parcels that belong to the farm.

Name and save it

The farm is then available on the map, in your Farms list, and in CarPlay.
Creating and editing farms requires the farms permission on your CamoAg account. Without it, farms open read-only.

Driving to a farm

Tap Directions to route to the farm. Which app opens depends on your Default Directions App setting — except in CarPlay, which always uses CamoAg’s own navigation.

In CarPlay

The CarPlay farm card shows the farm name, coordinates, county and state, parcel count, and gross acres, with Directions routing to the center of the farm. See CarPlay.
