Farms

Build and manage the farms and fields in your account.

A farm is a saved property in your account — its boundaries, the fields inside them, and every record you attach. Each farm has its own page at /farm/<farm id>, organized into tabs across the top.

The header carries the farm’s name, county and state, gross acres, production acres, and field count. The map beside it shows the farm’s boundaries; if the farm has no fields yet, you’ll get a prompt to add them instead.

Farms are built from parcels using the farm builder. See How to Save Parcels to create one.

Tabs

Which tabs appear depends on your subscription and your permissions on the farm.

Tab	What’s in it
Overview	Farm description, linked contacts, and portfolios.
Farmland Insights	Gross revenue estimates, county yield data, rent values, and Comparative Market Analysis.
Tax & Financial	Property tax payments by year, and mortgages. Requires CamoAg Enterprise.
Fields & Parcels	Every field and gross parcel on the farm, with tax parcel information. Select one for its own detail page.
Documents	PDFs, images, and video attached to the farm, with control over who can see them.
Soil	Soil maps and ratings for the farm’s fields.
Crop History	Five years of crop history for the farm’s fields.
Activity	Events recorded against fields — planting, harvest, and so on. Record new event adds one.

Activity records require farm management access and read permission on the farm.

Overview tab

Description is free text you can edit in place if you have edit permission on the farm.

Cards link the farm to the rest of your account:

• Contacts — the contacts this farm is linked to.
• Portfolios — the portfolios the farm belongs to.

The Contact and portfolio cards require a CamoAg subscription.

Farm options

The menu on the farm’s status card holds the record-level actions:

Action	What it does
Generate Report	Builds a PDF of aerial, soils, FEMA, and topography maps. See Generate Reports.
Download Shapefile	Exports the farm’s boundaries as a shapefile.
Download KMZ (Google Earth)	Exports a KMZ, with an option to open it directly in Google Earth.
Copy Latitude/Longitude	Copies the farm’s coordinates.
Create / Edit Farm Sale	Lists the farm for sale, or edits an existing listing.
Archive Farm	Archives the farm.
Delete Farm	Permanently removes the farm.
