Part 1: Getting Oriented
• Who/What is CamoAg?
CamoAg brings together land, ownership, operations, sales, and financial records in one place. For agribusinesses, that means knowing who farms every acre in your territory, how big the opportunity is, and where to spend your time.• Account Settings
Set a default location (the center of your sales territory), and add a profile photo and phone number. Colleagues see these when you share operations and farms.• Map Layers Overview
A quick tour of the base layer, additional layers, land boundaries, company layers, and Operations. Operations and company layers get deeper coverage below.Try it: turn on Land Boundaries and Operations in your own territory.
• Search
What you can search, how to narrow results, and how to find a grower or parcel in your county.Try it: search for one of your current customers and find their ground on the map.
Part 2: Finding and Sizing Growers
• Deep Dive: Operations Layer
The Operations layer shows who is farming the ground, not just who owns it, which is who buys your inputs and equipment. Click through an operation, save it to edit (accounts without a CRM integration), walk through the Operator panel, and run Deep Research before a first call.• Sizing the Opportunity for Each Grower
Once you know who farms the ground, estimate what the operation is worth to you. Use these to prioritize accounts and plan calls.Activity 1: Territory Prospecting
Take one prospect from the map to a saved, researched account on your own, repeating modules 5 and 6.
1
Find a prospect
Use the Operators layer to identify a grower in your territory who isn’t a customer yet.
2
Save the operation
Save the operation and request contact information.
If your organization’s CRM is integrated with CamoAg, skip to step 3.
3
Research it
Generate a Deep Research report. Note the crops, acreage, and anything you would bring up on a first call.
4
Size it
Check the operation’s estimated revenue and TAM. Decide whether it’s a priority account.
5
Tag it
Add a tag to the contact or operation (for example, a priority or territory tag) so your team can find it later.
Part 3: Territories and Customer Data
• Map Sales Territories
Build company map layers for your territories, branches, or rep assignments, then run any report scoped to a territory.• Manage Customers and Prospects
Keep contacts and operations organized from first touch onward, and use tags so the whole team classifies growers the same way.• Connect Your CRM and Sales Data
Bring your own customer and sales history into CamoAg so you can see who buys what, and where the gaps are.Part 4: Reporting Use Cases
Activity 2: Use Cases
Pick two use cases from Part 4 and complete them in CamoAg. For each one, note:
- Why you chose it
- The filters and steps you used
- The opportunity you found and the next action you’d take with it
