For loan officers, relationship managers, and credit staff at banks, Farm Credit associations, and other ag lenders. This page follows the CamoAg Financial Officer training: work through it in order to go from first login to using CamoAg for prospecting, competitive intelligence, and cross-selling. *Some modules require an Enterprise subscription with an additional data integration.

What You’ll Be Able to Do

  • Set up your account and navigate the map and its layers
  • Find a prospective borrower, save the operation, and generate a Deep Research report
  • Build a farm from owned parcels, connect it to a contact, and add it to a shared Portfolio
  • Read mortgage data on the map and in reports to spot refinance and renewal opportunities
  • Run a CMA with at least 5 comparable sales

Part 1: Getting Oriented

• Who/What is CamoAg?

CamoAg brings together land, ownership, operations, sales, and financial records in one place. For lenders, that means finding borrowers, sizing up collateral, and watching the competition.

• Account Settings

Set a default location (your primary lending territory), and add a profile photo and phone number. Colleagues see these when you share Portfolios and farms.

• Map Layers Overview

A quick tour of the base layer, additional layers, land boundaries, company layers, Operations, and Financial. Operations, Financial, and Farm Sales get deeper coverage below.
Try it: turn on Land Boundaries and Financial in your own territory.
What you can search, how to narrow results, and how to find a landowner or parcel in your county.
Try it: run one search of your own and find the parcel on the map.

Part 2: Operations and Farms

• Deep Dive: Operations Layer

The Operations layer shows who is farming the ground, not just who owns it. Click through an operation, save it to edit (accounts without a CRM integration), walk through the Operator panel, and run Deep Research before a first call. From Highlight on Map, select a contact or prospect to create a farm from all owned parcels, connect a contact, and create a Portfolio.

• Creating a Farm and Building a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA)

Add a farm to your account, generate reports on it, build a CMA, and use the Farm Sales layer to check collateral value against recent sales.

Activity 1: Operators Layer Prospecting

Take one prospect from the map to a shared Portfolio on your own, repeating modules 5 and 6.
1

Find a prospect

Use the Operators layer to identify a prospective customer.
2

Save the operation

Save the operation and request contact information.
If your organization’s CRM is integrated with CamoAg, skip to step 3.
3

Research it

Generate a Deep Research report. Note what you would bring up on a first call.
4

Build the farm

Locate all owned parcels and create a farm from one or more of them. Connect the farm to the contact you created.
5

Share it

Add the farm(s) to a Portfolio, then add at least one other user and give them Portfolio access.

Part 3: Financial Data

• Financial Layer

View mortgages on the map and click into one for details. The map shows one mortgage at a time; the reports in Part 4 let you filter thousands of them by lender and date.

Part 4: Reporting Use Cases

Activity 2: Use Cases

Pick two use cases from Part 4 and complete them in CamoAg. For each one, note:
  • Why you chose it
  • The filters and steps you used
  • The opportunity you found and the next action you’d take with it
